- Magic Coloring Bible – This one I recommend can be purchased from Amazon by clicking the link below
Notes: Instead of rapidly flipping the pages, allow them to slowly “click” open. Every now and then pause at different portions in the book throughout the lesson so they can see clearly that the pages are black, outlined or colored. Also, you must always flip from the front cover to the back. If you go in the other direction bad things will happen.. Just practice ahead of time and everything will be fine.

Did everyone bring your bible today? Did you know that your bible is NOT JUST ANOTHER BOOK? It is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT HAS EVER BEEN WRITTEN!
God tells Just how important His Word Is!

Once upon a time there was a little boy who did not even own a Bible. So even if he wanted to he couldn’t read it until one day when he went to Sunday school. There, his teacher very kindly gave him his very own Bible for him to read and learn more about God’s word. Unfortunately though, he didn’t realize just how wonderful this book was and instead of reading it he just let it sit there in his bookshelf week after week gathering dust.
Because he never read it, his Bible may as well have been blank right? If you don’t read it, you’re not getting anything out of it so for all you know the pages are blank.

That is so sad isn’t it? Well, one day at Sunday school his teacher was trying to get everyone in the class to read their Bibles and so in desperation she told the kids that whoever read the most verses from their Bible in one week would receive $10. Now this was very exciting! This boy was willing to do just about anything for that kind of money so he went right home and began reading his Bible immediately.
I understand that he wasn’t doing it necessarily for the right reasons but he still began to realize just how exciting this book is! He read about things he didn’t know were in there. Sword fights, angels, kings, warriors and soldiers. He read about the stories of Jesus and how Jesus died for us… and so much more. He found to his surprise that the Bible is really wonderful.

Well that’s pretty incredible. He won the $10 but more than that he gained an appreciation for how exciting and wonderful the Bible is. He began to read the Bible, not for profit but because it contained the wisdom of the ages. It contained things that he never knew was there and things that made him want to be a better person. Now he began reading his Bible for the right reasons; because he was falling in love with his Bible and with the God that wrote it. And as he did, he found that the Bible became alive to him.
